South Bay Tamil Sangam, referred as SBTS, is organized for Educational, Cultural and Charitable purposes. SBTS Organization has been a torchbearer and promoting Tamil and its culture to the community in Southern California, Los Angeles region since 2016.
SBTS is a non- profit, non-political and non-partisan public benefit corporation formed under the section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code of 1986, as now enacted or hereafter amended, including, for such purposes mentioned above, the making of distributions to organizations that also qualify as section 501(c)(3) exempt organizations.
To this end, the non-profit corporation shall unite members of Tamil community in Southern California Los Angeles region to strengthen and expand the reach of Tamil culture within the Tamil community and to the next generation kids; while also bringing better awareness of Tamil culture and language with other cultures by acting as bridge to build better empathy and harmony. The main purpose of the organization will be to teach Tamil language and culture by conducting classes, workshops and stage programs involving experts in the domain of Language and Arts.

All the funds, whether donations or income, and whether acquired by gift or contribution or otherwise, shall be completely devoted to the above said purposes.
